Trumps doing the right thing politically, where fee-fees and misinterpretations matter. Doesn't matter here. Just like Wuhan Flu the choke holds are not as dangerous as we're led to believe. That's why they've put up a fight so long keeping politically incorrect chokeholds around. They say seeing statues is dangerous too. The fact of the situation is that Chauvin didn't contribute to Floyd's death other than Floyd perhaps overexerting himself into a heart attack resisting four cops?

So what if he didn't jump back 6 feet to display his knee was no longer "choking" Floyd (which it basically never was in this case, because Chauvin was careful). His failure to telegraph the effective end of the "choke hold" to the public like a mime doesn't alter the reality that his knee didn't contribute to Floyds death. We don't have to wring hands over unpopular facts here. And winge that Chauvin didn't give an obvious appearance that he was obeying regulations.

Trump's doing the right thing period. If you don't agree, you don't belong on this site.

I agree it's the right thing if the police are allowed to shoot those they would have otherwise needed a choke-hold for.

You're insane. You're just out to make Trump supporters look bad.

Trump did the right thing period : if their lives aren't in danger, they can't shoot or choke a guy out. That's what good cops would do, and now there's a rule in place for idiots like Chauvin. Are you Chauvin ? Or paid by his handlers ?

Soros money, god damn.

Like you say If they needed a choke hold it meant the suspect was posing a danger, like Floyd, big, irrational, literally foaming at the mouth on drugs, kicking his way out the cruiser door while cuffed with retard strength, and resisting 4 armed cops. So if chokeholds are barred they should be excused for resorting to the guns. I suppose if they'd used tazers & pepper spray to contribute to his heart attack they'd get blamed for that too. I think they were using the minimum force to restrain him waiting for the EMTs.
