Excellent point. The good news is that people on TD are rapidly getting redpilled on that Question. People aware of the harm that negative j influence causes almost always get way more upvotes than downvotes here.

The modern Consoyvatism, Inc. movement idolizes Js (putting Israel First and America Last) due to neocons infiltrating the right in the '60s, and Will Buckley the Shabbos Goy purging paleoconservatives like Pat Buchanan in the '80s. The Culture of Critique has a great chapter on how the Neocons rose and infiltrated into the real Conservative movement (start at page 312 in the PDF)

I don't know much of the politics behind it.

I just know two things:

1. Palestine is six-flavours of evil aggressor and yet they're constantly made out to be innocent victims. Palestine doesn't get to complain about their children being killed when they're the ones who tied them to the rocket launchers that they fire at civilians.

2. People criticize Israel for taking land from Palestine and get angry when you point out that Palestine only had that land because they took it from Israel. Israel gave land back to Palestine once. Palestine fires rockets from it.
