I’m in the Bay, not Seattle, but it’s going the same way here. Our cops even look like a diversity advertisement. They still get shit on though. And there are actual hobo cities all around. They won’t prosecute petty crime anymore, so they’ll walk into Walgreens with a bag and out with $950 or less worth of items, which they then sell around the corner, or keep. People pin drugs in the street, and poop right in front of you. Now we have riots and defunding of the police on top of that.
Tech companies are already trying to pull out. More than half are going officeless and letting everyone work from home indefinitely. Houses are going for sale at record numbers. I’m fine seeing them go, but then we’re left with the mess they created and nobody to deal with it and no way to pay for it. It’s looking to be a complete meltdown.
Crazy leftists basically raped this area and left it when the body went cold.
no. we need a federal law keeping the tech companies there. They need to sit in the student created. The tech companies want to keep rigging elections and pushing for Democrat policies? Force them to sleep in the bed they madee
Haha, we can’t keep anyone anywhere by law in that sense, but I think holding them accountable would be a good start. If they want to censor and control everything for the DNC, that’s their right. But they should do so as a publisher and not be granted legal protections if they decide to go that route. At least with social media companies, they quite literally could not continue existing without those protections, and they’ve done nothing but abuse them.
We all should have been suspicious of Google the moment they dropped their ‘don’t be evil’ slogan.
I think Facebook will stay. They have so much invested here in ongoing infrastructure and buildings being made. Apple’s got it’s own fucking campus and they don’t really censor anything outside of pro life stuff to my knowledge. Twitter’s always been a joke here and can just rent out their building, and already do. Google’s in between Facebook and Apple. They really want people to stay but nobody wants to and they were already hated before all this, and for good reason.

I increasingly am suspecting that this might be strictly necessary, despite the bitterness and great inefficiency in multiple ways. Centuries ago, it was not always easy for people to move around, physically, transportation-wise, or legally. While bitter in many different regards, it did mean that people had a very vested interest in keeping the place they were living in livable.
not only that but they to places like Nebraska where I live and start fucking shit up here too. Like commie Kara Eastman who want to turn Omaha and Lincoln into utopia shitholes.
Time to start supporting and electing the right people, the right has been to passive, the demoralization by the media has been too effective. They want our silence
