A recomendation to take with a grain of salt. Those holsters take a lot of room inside your pants and the neoprene gets pretty warm on a long day of carry. However, they are great for heavy pistols and all day wear, other than the heat. You may consider trying just a kydex clip on IWB for a gun as small as an XDS 3.3. It will be much less intrusive and a lot more comfortable.

Remember, nobody (not even me) can tell you what is the "right" choice for anything. It's pure personal preference.

For what it is worth, the only problem I have had with heat (in Texas) is sweat on the handle/clip release. Wearing an undershirt/tank top fixed that.

I have never had heat issues with mine other than that. XD Mod.2.

I ditched mine in Florida because it made me sweat like a hog. The paddle smelled like a highschool locker room after a month.

2+ years on my XD one, never had the smell issue. Weird.

Probably because I carry in a tropical pine forest. The humidity is unbearable. I am from Central Texas and I will take that dry heat any day over what we have in Florida
