He’s not suppressing his freedom of speech, he’s suppressing the release of CLASSIFIED INFORMATION. Matters of NATIONAL SECURITY.
That might be the right leg to stand on.
It just concerns me what he’s concerned about Bolton saying.
It could be a lot of things. State matters that are supposed to remain secret for national security. Maybe one political leader was talking about future strategies against another country and Bolton was sworn to secrecy. It could be a whole mess of stuff. Either way he needs to have it cleared before publishing.
It could also be lies and even if he retracts, it’s already out there
