There's been a lot of talk on the left that anyone that voted for Bernie would surely never vote for Trump. I'm here to dispel that myth.

I am someone that is very much pro-working class and pro-nation. I am concerned with corporate cronyism and exploitation of the middle class by the capitalist class. I believe we should solve our problems at home before we go intervening in the problems of the rest of the world. I would like to see a return to the days when a middle-class nuclear family could survive and thrive on one income. I want to end the corruption in Washington. For these reasons, I put my more conservative social leanings to the side and chose Bernie.

To simplify things, you could say I am fiscally left-leaning while socially right-leaning. Turns out this position is far more popular in Europe, but I assure you, we do exist in the US. In fact, I would argue that Donald Trump embodies much of these views...he nearly had my vote in 2016 for the same reasons. Now, with the recent influx of BLM and Antifa chaos, I have officially had enough of the left. I like that Trump has refused to back-down with these assholes, and I hope to see more of that. I want to know that if re-elected, Trump will put all of these fuckers back in their place. I want to know that I won't have to live in fear of losing my job because I have an actual understanding of statistics and refuse to subscribe to the narrative that "systemic racism" is the reason black people just can't get ahead (despite having EVERY opportunity handed to them in this country).

Most of all, I want to know that we truly can Make America Great Again (I won't say "Keep" because I don't think we're there yet). Tell me what I can do to help.

Edit: Okay everyone, I'm off for the evening.

I expected the occasional "commie" ribbing (though not the one guy that called me a nazi?), and that's fine. Most of you were welcoming enough and provided some interested sources of info for me to consider in light of my economic views. As I said lower in the thread, I am willing to consider evidence from all sides, and should new information come along that adequately refutes my beliefs, I will amend. For the moment, in these current times of insanity, we're on the same side where it counts.

We learn through discourse, and I'm glad many of you were willing to engage in such with me. Cheers.

Welcome to the team man, we're glad to have you. A couple things.

First, you're WAY more in line with us here than you were with them there. I'm always amazed by the number of people who line up with us on what I feel at 99 Very Important Points, but are with them on One or Two Minor Points (which ironically would solve themselves if the 99 VIPs were sorted out,) so they vote Blue and accidentally perpetuate that which they admit is a problem.

Second, there actually IS Systemic Racism holding Black People down in every location where these riots are occurring; which are places where the Democrats have been in charge for literal decades, some times up to a CENTURY. If the Left IS the System in these places, and the people say there's Systemic Racism, how do they not notice that connection? Because the Left loves ignorant people, as they're so much easier to rule over. If I wanted to ensure my eternal authority in a system that used democratic elections, I would create a system that perpetually gave people just enough to survive, which would give them the image that I am trying to help them, but that act of giving would take from the very level of self-sufficiency that would allow them to get out of the system, widening the gap between them and freedom from my scam. We would have the Welfare Trap where working harder and making more money would actually result in someone having LESS to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads. Which is what we have now. Incentives to be a single mother and keep having kids, instead of getting married and building for the future, would ensure generations of virtual Vote-Slaves.

Anecdotal Evidence isn't a true meterstick for these things, but I was hired for a job at Walmart alongside a young Black Woman who was trying to build a life for her baby, having been left by the child's irresponsible piece of shit father. However, as she told me, she would not qualify for housing assistance unless she worked Two Jobs. One FULL TIME Job where she had more stability and made more money was not good enough. So she had a choice; continue at Walmart and find a friend she trusted to live with or be homeless, or leave Walmart and get two OTHER jobs that pay less and have fewer benefits and opportunities. (Every other job in town Walmart considers a Competitor, as there are only major grocery stores and a Target,) She went for the other two jobs, as having a baby and being homeless was simply not an option. Again, this is just one story, but I hope it illustrates the sinister trap that the Welfare System currently IS, regardless of the intentions of those who built and maintain it (I believe it was made this way intentionally, but will allow for the possibility that Compassion and Stupidity collided at high speeds.)

And third, and most importantly, I hope you realize now that everyone on the left is just a huge fucking Scam. The Democrat Party throws out all these different guys who supposedly have different principles and goals and all, but then when the Party (not the people) decide who their candidate is, all these different people immediately lock step and echo the Chosen One. They have no outsiders, just different bait on a different hook, leading to the same Socialist Boat.
