The bleeding heart Liberals always think letting people off is "Good" and "Humane" but doesn't think about the consequence unto the public or even to the Released. If the said people is ill-prepared / not repentent, releasing one suddenly harms him, just like releasing some ill adapted 73 year old w/o money and relatives to the streets after 38 years of imprisonment is likely a bigger punishment than in prison.
I read she suspected him of stealing money from her business (she hired him for some incomprehensible reason). She then fired him for alleged theft. This led to her stabbed & bludgeoned body being discovered in the bed & breakfast she owned/operated.
