At least one entry wound in the back, maybe a couple up front. They looked like low center mass. Might have missed lungs but hit liver and kidneys. I'm just guessing based on the whole video. They show the bandaid patrol trying to patch him up. Swat medic took awhile to work on him before moving him. I'd say he's going to have some pain to deal with.
I completely agree with you, but this dude drew his weapon while in tunnel vision, adrenaline pumping at the speed of light, he's got attackers on left and right, and he has to mag dump on this knife wielder before the guy finds his balls and charges.
He got the job done. It's never pretty. Truthfully, watching his composure up to the final altercation, and then the draw stroke, weapon presentation, and firing on target, I'd say he in fact did take weapons training classes. Or he's a LEO.

There's always room for improvement, never get complacent.
Good enough is great, better is better, and tomorrow is an opportunity to add on top of wherever you are now
Where can we see the whole video?
It's posted somewhere on .win
Yup, I found it, no worries.
Those are usually the worst. Have to go in and repair bowel, and they often get septic
