Its always a good idea to take a break from things like social media. I think most of the reason the left is so crazy is that they never just go outside and forget about the nonsense on the world.
The person who went after you about "unhelpful rhetoric" sounds like a troll. Practice recognizing them and ignoring them, or hitting the deport button on them when they actually violate a rule.
If you need to take a break from here, of course you should. Maybe look for some opportunities to volunteer for the Trump campaign in your area, especially in roles that would involve interacting with other Trump supporters in person.
I think the guy who snapped at me was just in a really strung up and serious mindset. He probably meant well, but he was lacking sight of the board's lighter side.
All the rioting and the pandemic restrictions are stressing a lot of people out, in some cases because of immediate financial problems or immediate fear for their personal safety. He may be one of the people who's having a really tough time dealing with all this.
Bro taking a week or a few days off from social media is always a good thing. Nothing you need to explain about. I do it regularly. Sometimes it's just information overload and a waste of time.
Take care of the things that need your attention. Keep yourself prepared but also keep yourself well. Get yourself back to feeling the way you need to feel. Come back whenever you feel the time is right, even if itβs in a few hours. Never forget that there are millions of us who feel the same way about this great country of ours. You are never alone pede. God bless you.
Take a break and we will gladly have you back. You are family! Fuck that guy who told you to shove off... lots of butT hurts around here! See ya soon! ππΏ
Go out in nature and listen to frogs croak, look at the stars at night, play with a dog at a shelter, Do something that makes you happy and feel good and then come back to us. We will miss you while you are gone.
You know what pede, after reading this post, it made me do some self reflection for a minute. I think I might be guilty myself too on being a bit hostile in my comments here sometimes (I was yesterday about the Rayshard Brooks shooting). Maybe I need to be a bit softer too. But one thing Trump has taught me is to never get soft and hit hard. I don't know if the person you were interacting with was a shill or a legit doom and gloom pede but I don't think you should you let that effect you. I stopped caring about my upvotes, downvotes etc couple years ago on Reddit. That's also one of the reasons why I often scrap the old account and create a new account to start fresh.
If you need some time off, you should. I might even suggest taking some time off from media and news in general - even right wing media. Work on your book, call a few people whom you are really close with (I realize you said that's not many but whoever it is). I am in literally the same place as you when it comes to friends and family. I have a few acquaintances but maybe just a couple close friends I talk to on a regular basis. So I 100% feel you. I use my time to spend here as well as work on my own personal projects.
I can also highly recommend taking up working out if you don't already. Gyms might be closed in your area but you can still do push ups, pull ups, body weight squats, banded exercises, go out for a run or walk etc. Take care of your body, build it just in case the tree of liberty calls for you one day.
I do hope you watch Saturday's rally and maybe give us a visit here if you like. Hope to see you soon again and win together!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree. We shouldn't ever get soft. Sometimes it's good to take time off. Your suggestion to take some time away from news in general is good too, so I think I may do that also. I'll remember to check out the rally, though.
I do have a gym I'm registered at, I guess I should get back to visiting there regularly. I'm not sure if they're still closed down from the quarantine thing.
Cheers pede! Yes, definitely man the gym a regular part of your schedule. It helps a ton! Plus you wanna stay fit and healthy in case patriots are asked for help!
Yeah, there's been a bit of negativity in right wing groups recently. I think these folks need to take some time away from the fake news, and disengage from the things going on right now. I've had to do that a bit when I realized I was developing some anxiety from the way the far-left is acting right now.
Best of luck on your personal projects, and God bless!
I know what you mean, these places can be very addictive. In the last few years I've broken away from a lot of forums I used to habitually visit for more than a decade. Mainly T_D is the only forum I visit now.
Back during t_d days on reddit, I had crass rude 12 year old sounding people be ugly to me, and as a introverted person it did hurt me. Getting called "shill" for asking the "wrong" question. It was insulting, as an o.p. from the beginning of the donald, to be bitched at by a salty newbie. LOL. I can laugh now. .win has really been a joy compared to reddit. But I'm not good at social media, I will never be one of the cool people. And the effects of an old head injury make me sort of odd. You are right that .win feels different lately and I think it is stress. Everyone has been through a lot of emo the last few months. Nerves are fried. And we are pissed! If I did not have faith that God gave our country Donald Trump, and will not forsake him, or us, or our blessed country, I would be beside myself.
Come back and say hi, once in a while. Love and good wishes are sent your way! Do things that make you smile!
I know what you mean. For years I used to spend time on sites/boards where the communities made me miserable, all the posters seemed so immature and insulting. One thing I've appreciated about T_D is that we pack the spice and I'm not on the outs of the group here!

Have a great break - hope to see you again

Glad you're back!
Thanks! I'm still gonna take some time away for a while longer, but just dropping in to reply.

I agree. The internet is full of information, not all of it factual. Oftentimes it's just good to get back to the real world.

Thanks!
Thank you for the well thought out reply as well! I agree. Some posts are not as uplifting but may have important news to share all the same.
Thanks. I'm doing alright, I'll probably still take a break for a while longer from here, but just wanted to drop in for a bit to reply.
Thank you, God bless!

Thanks! I do enjoy spending time out in nature, I should make a point of it more often.
That's the gaslighting from leftists pretending to be T_D users
Hopefully we'll get more winning-themed messages surging soon!
