Dude, I'm not even getting close to these "protests". I'll defend my home and my neighbors if necessary, but a gun isn't a magic life-saving shield. Sooner or later the bullets will run out. Even with a hundred round drum a mob like this can easily overwhelm you, and they've proven themselves to be absolutely brutal in their self-righteous zeal. If it wasn't for the civil guard protecting this guy (I don't know that he was one of them, but it doesn't really matter) he might well have been beaten to death before the police arrived. If they were on his side they would have already been there. Yours is all good advice, but if you really want to protect yourself the best thing to do is stay as far away from these animals as you can.
