Theres two parts to this and he is being the responsible adult. Having compassion for individuals is something that Trump has shown again and again and again, it's one of those things that make him such a great president. And he is compassionate over and over to Americans, he shouldnt stop that, it doesnt make him weak it makes him and us stronger. This is leadership, I dont want a Republican president, I want an American president that tries to fairly govern from a place of constitutional betterment for all of us. Anyways I digress, 2 parts to the rioting/EO reform.
Part#1 some cops are complete power hungry assholes. It's a fact, I know some. Small minority but they are there. They should be held accountable and I think he is trying to do that.
Part#2 we are selectively enforcing crimes right now, rioters are being catered too and we are pretending crime isnt running rampant. At some point we need an adult to point out the rule of law and enforce with a blindfold on. Lawbreakers in trouble, law abiders not in trouble. No color seen or discussed. This one is far trickier, a lot of what is happening trump doesn't have the constitutional right to interfere on a nitty gritty local level. I dont want him to it's a terrible precedent. I do however think he is working through the federal crimes that are being committed and arresting those people. The organizers, funders of the rioting. This is already happening. And it is flushing out the worst enemies of america, they are all surfacing from their lairs and it's quite clear.
As a side note, it's a laughable parody watching chaz/chop/chip/chump whatever the hell its called today. It is such an education in real time the absurdity of applied socialism. We talk about red pills, the longer term picture is that this is a real life education in the stupidity of applied socialism and millions of people see that quite clearly now. If Trump had jumped in day 1 and squashed it immediately, it would have fueled the fire. Instead we meme, tucker reports from the US/Chaz border, and the longer this goes the more we win.
