Hellow fellow caterpillars. I'm hoping to camp out overnight for the Tulsa, OK rally this Saturday, but had a few questions on logistics, for anyone who's done it before:

  • How early should I queue up?
  • What do I do with the camping stuff/chairs before going into the venue? I'm going alone and might not have someone to hold the line.
  • Are there porta-johns?

Thanks, and sorry if this is a dumb question, just needing some tips from vets.

The tiniest little fold away one man tent. Y can sleep two inside (cramped) BUT more importantly y can duck in, zip up the front and piss into an empty plastic 2 litre screw up cordial container stored in yr backpack; without having to leave yr spot and walk a block or two to the dirty portable toilets (and wait in line). Harder for the ladies but they can piss into a tupperware container then pour it into the bottles (might need a funnel). Number Two b4 y leave so y can hold out for a couple of days. Take a hat, sunscreen, plenty of food, cold chicken, water, sweets, and a large bottle of spirits. Sitting in line, relaxed, one day out at sunset--half tipsy with other patriots would be just superb. And no I haven't done it because I'm in Australia.

Just leave it all there when y get in--the tent, the fold up chair, the backpack, foam esky, empty food wrappings-- and piss bottles. Scroungers will grab that tent, chair and esky no doubt.
