“Don’t support broad allegations of misconduct” Yet there are still people out there who believe that he hired Durham to prosecute the same people whom he defends with that statement.

So far zero accountability for all the people at DOJ who railroaded Flynn, and based on that statement I doubt there will ever be. Does Barr not realize what this statement does to the credibility of the DOJ.

There is a good excuse, although it's probably just swamp-rats closing ranks. If DOJ admits prosecuters misconduct it can mean many other cases called into questions where they actually did some justice. Prosecuting killers and terrorists or what not. Not that most of these partisan weasels probably spent much time doing what's good for the american people.

The continued abuse of Flynn is further evidence of Barr being at the very least easy on the deep state if not complicit.

Those in the know understand that the final nail on the coffin of the dead corpse that is Russiagate hinges on Flynn's culpability. Barr knows that. They need him to be guilty, and the longer drawn out this is the longer they play Weekend at Bernies with that corpse.

I don't see this as any different than the Durham probe. Remember when Barr stressed the importance of summing up the Mueller report in a timely fashion because he claimed the public had a right to know given the nature of the accusations. Fast forward to today where half the country believes a coup is taking place and the other half still think Trump is treasonous. Yet the Doj has adopted this cavalier attitude about everything.

Look at what's taking place in America, alarm bells should be going off.

Billy fatfuck continues to circle the wagons.

We're fucked, we'd need 24 Ric Grenells to have a hope in hell.

I think this might be a misreading - perhaps they're defending the DOJ at large (the "broad") where as prosecutorial misconduct was narrow (largely the SCO, Weissman, his minions).

Maybe necessary to ensure anything from Durham isn't challenged on the basis DOJ knew of "broad" misconduct (i.e. outside the scope of the SCO coup attempt itself)
