This culture of breaking the law and FIGHTING with police officers is what needs to be addressed. I don’t agree with capital punishment at all, not even the death penalty, but the notion you can attack an armed officer who is legitimately arresting you is absolutely insane. This is not a BLM issue, it’s a culture issue.

So now cops are supposed to consider the angle of weapons pointed at them, while running after a violent felon with fight mode engaged, to determine that no that would go over my head if he shot it? This is going to be devastating for Atlanta police morale if not all police. Who the fuck is going to want to be a cop, who by the nature of their job are put into bad situations like this, when even obviously justified situations like this result in firing/charges against them. People with 0 other options, or just nobody at all, that's who.

His lawyer should pull out a taser in the middle of the trial and ask which juror would allow him to shoot it over their head.
