They tried to be nice because the last time a cop used sufficient force to subdue a suspect who was also on massive amounts of fentanyl and meth we had a nation-wide chimp out.
Yeah, floyd was going to die that day no matter what, he just happened to die in police custody. Hell, even if the cop didn't put his knee on his neck, he would have still died and these riots would have still happened simply because he was in police custody when he died. I bet his family is fucking loving this too, they are millionaires now...
Crazy thought but I'm guessing his family would rather have him be alive instead of money, but who knows.
If I had a dad that was a deadbeat the entire time I knew him, I probably would care more about the money. That could just be me though.
