Aim? I disagree if you look closer at the video Brooks fired right after he turned his arm and shot the taser way to the right of Rolfe, he wasn't even close.
Yes, aim, as in he pointed the weapon in the direction of the officers with the intent of hitting them with it. He was drunk, so not very effective, but the intent was there.
He was sloppily trying to get away from them seems to me, and not attempting to murder 2 police officers.. Is that what you are saying?
I'm not saying he was attempting to murder them, I'm saying that it could have easily escalated to that point. He wasn't exactly in a clear state of mind. If he would tase a police officer, how do you know he would not go further? We know he did not have the option in this case, but had he successfully incapacitated the officer, he would have significantly tilted the odds in his favor. Desperate people do desperate things.
Doesn't make any sense, he was odd and goofy the whole time, didn't really seem that wasted.
I think he was acting as nice as possible because he was hoping to get off, like being allowed to walk home or something. He only snapped once the cuffs came out and he realized it wasn't going to work. I don't know if I agree about the last point. He couldn't remember which street he was on, or whether he was even in Atlanta. He couldn't keep his story straight about which drinks he had or how many. And during that sobriety test, he did not realize that he only took four or five steps rather than the nine the officer asked for. That's pretty damn drunk lol, although he handled himself fairly well in spite of it imo.
