This is why I don’t have much sympathy for what is happening with the police. Many, not all or maybe even a majority, are utter scum and would without hesitation shoot your dead on your front porch while serving a red flag warrant to confiscate your guns.

I had NYPD follow me up my block. I pulled into my driveway they blocked me in and turned the lights on and gave me a whoop whoop. I got out and they start accusing me of being on my phone when I wasn't. For whatever reason my fly happened to be down, I must have forgot to zip up all the way I had taken a leak when I left work. They started saying they would charge me with indecency for that. I didn't do a fucking thing and you block me in my driveway, walk up on my property and start to threaten me? "You can't come on my property" "WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT". Fuck you dudes, go take care of some real shit. The city has these guys out there as tax collectors, looking for any reason to fine people. If we were allowed to defend ourselves and protect our communities we wouldn't need so many. We wouldn't have these ridiculous pension liabilities dragging down NY and NJ.

I had a cop pull me over for tinted windows, he was all nice at first and said he would let me go if everything checks out. But when he found out all my papers were in order he started yelling and freaking out, trying to provoke me. By this time a K9 unit and backup had arrived. Long story short, he was convinced I was some sort of drug dealing kingpin and was super pissed when he didn't find anything. It ended with him telling me he better not ever see me in "his town" again.

I know it's not all cops, but let's not kid ourselves. A lot of thugs become cops because they want the power, they enjoy it and abuse their authority for their own pleasure at the expense of us common folk.

I’ve never understood why anyone would tint their windows, everyone I’ve known who’s done it gets hassled by the police constantly.

I bought a “toy” car a few years ago that I drive very seldomly. Couldn’t get an inspection sticker due to heavy tint. My spouse’s job exempts dark tint, so now we’re both on the title and stickers are no problem.

*Neither of us has been hassled by cops for the tint.

Had a beat up IROC when I was a teenager. Red of course. Driver door got smash when someone backed into it and I replaced it with a door I got from the pick and pull. Door was gray with dark tint on the window. Got pulled over and ticketed for the single window with tint on it, on the door that was a different color than the rest of the car. I was young and thought he would understand, even laugh, if I explained how we got here. He didn't care. It wasn't really the ticket, but the way he talked to me and treated me like a criminal that really bothered me.

2
TrumpRules 2 points ago +2 / -0

Dude, but you have to admit a red IROC wih a grey primared door does look a little sketchy.

2

I've never been pulled over or bothered.

5

I've had a cop arrest me for taking issue with his use of a taser on a kid fleeing an underage drinking citation.

I've also been pulled out of my car on a family vacation in which I was DDing my family home from a restaurant. Mom was upset by this, cop threatened to sick his K9 on her.

I've rarely had any good experience with police.

They are human. Some good, some bad, some indifferent. Probably hate their jobs and would rather not show up every day. Have them doing stupid shit they don't want to do, dealing with problems they can't solve, dealing with death and violence and just the worst shit. I totally get it. I think a lot of the bad interaction just stems form that, the embitterment and stress that they have it ends up getting taken out on some people.

I had plenty of good interactions with police to. One time I was speeding 70 in a 50. Get pulled over I said yeah I was speeding, sorry about that. He asks me what I am doing out over in his town, about 40 miles form where I live. I said I'm going to the gun range, so he asks if I have guns in the car I say yeah in the trunk, do you need to see? He says no, just asks me what kind as if he's interested. Gives me a warning and lets me go. He should have given me a speeding ticket, and I wouldn't even have been mad about it. This is out in a more rural area. Inside the city though it feels like every interaction is adversarial.

13
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 13 points ago +13 / -0

That right there is the real issue. Cops do not police, they patrol to collect and fill quotas.

The PD in my area swear there's no ticket quotas but almost like clockwork there's stepped up patrols near the end of the month and a spike in tickets. However they swear there's no quotas.

The issue here isn't the cops. Its the politicians themselves. Policing and fining should be separate. Citations should be handled by Civil Patrols that have no actionable policing authority (making arrests) and Police should be left alone to take care of the Criminal element and maintaining the safety of the highways.

4
Cyer6 4 points ago +6 / -2

They don’t use quotas any more. The culture of police work that starts when they’re rookies is that you aren’t worth a shit unless you can go out there and prove you can handle business. So they’re evaluated and constantly pressed by supervisors to produce arrests and citations. If you drive around in your patrol car all day and don’t have anything else to show for your day, you’ll have your sergeant on your ass. They’re on probation and can be let go for virtually anything so these young cops go out there and try to basically keep their jobs by showing they’re productive. After probation, they still have supervisors pressing them to be proactive and that means putting cases on people and/or writing lots of citations. If they become what they call in the business “a slug” they won’t have a shot at better assignments and future promotions. With that kind of mindset, cops are quite motivated to do what they do without the need for quotas.

4
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 4 points ago +6 / -2

They don’t use quotas any more.

That's complete bullshit, because if a civilian auditer would get wind of this, you're talking a good amount of lawsuits or reimbursements from the city. Its the same shit about Red Light Cameras that just so happen were 'effective' in generating revenue but were ineffective in stopping traffic accidents. They say there's no quotas because they legally have to.

If you drive around in your patrol car all day and don’t have anything else to show for your day, you’ll have your sergeant on your ass.

Then the culture must change. A cop doing nothing and just patrolling keeping the peace through a show of force is more effective than them shaking down grandma for slightly rolling a stop sign even though they came to a full stop. What's even funnier is that when traffic violations are clear, a Patrol officer lets the offender go unless its the end of the month.

In Blue States, the local Police exists only to extort money from the working citizen. They exist only to bring fine money to the bloated city apparatus and just so happens every so often they will solve a crime. Any effective means of policing is left to specialized divisions who deal with gangs and drugs. The average beat cop has been the guard dog not for the people but for the Democrat Governments they serve (since their oath is to the badge and Mayor office, not the US Constitution).

https://www.policeone.com/police-products/traffic-enforcement/articles/how-ticket-quotas-negatively-impact-police-morale-and-public-trust-SwfHcZgpnIlQhi1B/

A bit of research proves that municipalities push quotas onto the police force so...sure maybe your neck of the woods doesn't do it. Does not mean its real nor the fact that there's been legislation put in place to halt this practice. So pull your head out your ass.

Also 'knowing this business' does not give you a seat of authority to bark down to others. I don't even know what you do, just saying 'i have some form of authority' without clear idea on what the eff you do means very little to me.

It’s weird. On the federal level, there’s no requirement to wait any amount of time between the knock and announce (“Police, search warrant, open the door.”) and hitting the door. So a “no knock” warrant saves you at most 3-5 seconds. I’m sure it varies somewhat from state to state, but it seems like a very small amount of time that leads to a lot more liability

No body cam videos released for the Tuttle murders. No rioting for the Tuttles. No police chief resigning for the Tuttles. No multi state funeral tour for them, and over a year has gone by and their families STILL wait for justice.

44
peterstrzoked 44 points ago +45 / -1

This situation is extremely unfortunate because according to the story, there is no dash cam or body cam footage.

If this cop was by himself it’s his word against a corpse.

Did he murder her for some reason we will never know?

Did he kill her because he’s a bumbling idiot and thought she had a gun in her purse when she went to get her ID?

Or did she really say she was going to kill him and did something erratic and got herself killed?

We probably won’t ever know, and since she’s not black the media won’t ever bother to try and find out either.

Ive had more bad experience than good. Had one pull me over every time he saw me because he thought i had drugs after a car accident he responded to. A family saying was "being the nicest cop is like being the smartest retard."

I dont hate them, but i know that you cant really trust any. Maybe back in the day you could trust local cops but its not the same.

I still call it like I see it, if they are justified ill back them. There definitely needs to be reform. Id even consider ending traffic stops. At the very least separate them so you have a traffic force and never have to deal with a cop amped up from a previous call then pull you over.

This sounds fucked up and ive seen enough actual innocent people hurt or killed to taint my opinion for life.

8
Yawnz13 8 points ago +11 / -3

That's sort of the problem though, isn't it? People acting like their personal experiences and anecdotal stories are the norm?

"I've only ever seen whites own slaves, therefore all whites are bad/can't be trusted."

That's what this sort of mentality gets you.

6
covfefe-time 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah, go to any court house on a Monday morning. Pleeenty of white people packed in for dubious drug and traffic charges.

Sure, you break the law, you pay the price.

But acting like whites aren't being 'targeted' by overzealous jurisdictions is laughable.

Way too much money to be made by criminalizing the public.

Yet, I still support police in general because the alternative is much worse.

When in doubt, lawyer on speed-dial, and record everything.

2
Italians_Invented_2A 2 points ago +2 / -0

The alternative is to decriminalize possession of drugs.

I've never touched a drug in my life, so I'm not like your typical pothead. But I'm terrified that a cop can stop me and suddenly decide to ruin my life by simply saying that I had drugs.

0
Yawnz13 0 points ago +1 / -1

The whooshing sound of that going over your head was deafening.

I'll take "What is an association fallacy?" for $500, Alex. The point is that when you adopt the mentality of "X person did something bad to me, therefore all X people are bad", you're guilty of the same nigger shit as we're seeing in all of these major cities, i.e. riots and looting.

I'm sure this will get lost but my wife had an incident where she had a metal rod jambed in her eye. We called EMS and because it is a small town and how the transports would work they wouldnt be able to take us to a hospital where they could operate. So recommended we took her by our car to a hospital 1.5hrs away because it would be overall faster. We didn't know what type of internal damage might have been done. My father drove us there and I was comforting her in the back seat. We got pulled over for speeding, we explained the situation to the county cop. Rolled down my wife's window and he saw the rod sticking out from her eye....then insisted we wait on an ambulance (which would have went directly against what EMS just told us) I was upset and balled up my fist with frustration. The officer put his hand to his holstered firearm and said "I don't think you want to do that"...most cops are good, and some are pricks.

5
Scroon 5 points ago +7 / -2

But what happened? Did the ambulance eventually get you there in the same amount of time or less or longer?

And it really depends on the response time here. Did the cop know what the ambulance's ETA was?

A lot of times it's better to wait for them to come to you even if total wait and transit ends up longer, because once they get there, you'll have access to advanced first aid.

9
R2D2MightyCucks 9 points ago +9 / -0

He didn't offer an ETA. It seemed longer than it was but we waited 30 mins for an ambulance, they told us the exact same thing the local EMS told us. But in this case, if we accepted transport, we would be driven in the opposite direction and now a further distance because of the progress we had already made. The ambulance offered the same option as EMS which was to drive ourselves to the preferred facility that could do the operation. We had to sign a waiver saying we denied transport and the cop DID let us go without citation.

It seems far fetched but the long part of the ambulance story is that they HAD to transport us to the facility 45 mins west of us, where admittedly they wouldn't be able to operate on it and would most likely transport us to the facility to the East of us that we decided to drive to initially.

6
DLane1 6 points ago +6 / -0

Did you sue the officer and his PD? His incompetence could have cost your wife her eyesight. The answer to bad cops is the same as it has always been, lawsuits.

3
R2D2MightyCucks 3 points ago +4 / -1

I don't believe a lawsuit would correct what I saw as a problem. It would only bring more stress to our family, for maybe a payout? We were fortunate that she didn't lose her sight. We knew the risks of traveling above the speed limit, and I have to realize that if we would have maintained a decent speed we would not have been held up. We should have requested a police escort or something in hindsight, or hell it would have been nice if he could have arranged one....

3
commies0ride0free 3 points ago +3 / -0

How is her eye? What an awful experience for all of you.

5
R2D2MightyCucks 5 points ago +5 / -0

Her eye is fine, and no vision problem to date. Craziest part was that except for her traumatic scream for help when it initially got stuck in her eye, she was the most calm out of any of us the whole time.

0
Yawnz13 0 points ago +2 / -2

Pretty sure they were worried about potentially getting sued. Most PDs probably have protocol in place that they have to call and wait on EMS arrival when encountering injured people.

1
R2D2MightyCucks 1 point ago +2 / -1

I am 100% sure that you are right, and don't blame the officer at all. We were speeding, and he probably was following procedure. But the threat to pull his firearm, still surprises me to this day.

0
Yawnz13 0 points ago +2 / -2

Better to do that then just assume you weren't going to hit him imo. A curled-up fist is probably a universal sign of aggression and he was going to make it clear that, despite all the stress you were under, he wasn't going to let you take it out on him.

0
R2D2MightyCucks 0 points ago +1 / -1

No shit.

0
Yawnz13 0 points ago +2 / -2

No reason to be surprised anymore then. Once you step back and take a deep breath, you'll see that all it was was trading one threat for another.

No body cam and the story seems very far fetched. She was hard working, everyone said she was polite, nice and the people who saw her 2 hours before the killing said she was acting normal.

Also, she was young and attractive. We need to really investigate this officer and see if he has any complaints of sexual misconduct. Maybe he put the moves on her and it got out of hand. This type of thing does happen.

This is the correct answer. Cops act like this because of third world low IQ retards who constantly commit violent crimes.

Get rid of the low IQ third world savages and cops wouldn't need these tactics at all.

5
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 5 points ago +5 / -0

3rd World Low IQ retards cant get jobs. take jobs from hard working Americans. Inner city crime goes up. The city gets strapped for cash, starts passing nanny type infraction laws. Local PD is pushed to write tickets instead of enforcing the law, its reinforced by the Police Union to bring in revenue....people get angry and distrustful of the Police...call them incompetent....some people protect them saying 'quota's don't exist when the reality points otherwise.

Cops no longer are cops, they are the new Sheriff of Nottingham. They turn the blind eye to crime unless forced to do so but they exist to bring in revenue to Blue Cities so they can quell the low IQ populace with welfare and city benefits.

-1
americathegr888 -1 points ago +1 / -2

I'm not "trying to say" anything. I said it. You do know that the "Miami" reference is to the 1986 incident, right? Last I checked, 1986 is part of "the 80s", correct?

Nah. Militarization picked up due to two incidents where police were confronted with superior firepower. You lived through the 80s? Congrats, would you like a cookie or a t-shirt? Unfortunately for you, this is the Internet and your word is worth a squirt of piss in a hurricane. You got something more substantial than your jaundiced crap? No? Okay then.

You didn't see widespread use of "military" items like AR-15s in PDs until post-1997. Don't try to act like a SWAT team is evidence of "muh militarization".

3

"In fact, between 1998 and 2014, the dollar value of military hardware sent to police departments skyrocketed from $9.4 million to a startling $796.8 million."

Enjoy!

"Incidents like the 1986 FBI Miami shootout and the North Hollywood shootout of 1997 were game-changers for law enforcement weaponry and equipment—due to officers not having sufficient stopping power during these notorious shootouts."

Enjoy!

"The 1033 Program was enacted in the wake of the 1997 North Hollywood shootout. Created by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997, it allowed law enforcement agencies to get their hands on military hardware."

Enjoy!

I love that it brings up Prohibition, as if a few big city departments picking up Thompons equates to "militarization". Hell, the Thompson wasn't even officially adopted by the military until after Prohibition (1938) and was marketed to civilians for more than a decade prior anyway, so you can go fuck yourself on that part of the article.

So as I said before, actual militarization (as in, not SWAT) happened as a result of the 1986 shootout in Miami and the 1997 North Hollywood shootout. Militarization of police was wholly in response to militarization of non-police.

Well, in Atlanta they burnt the Wendy's, so I guess that means us white folks can burn down the catfish place she pulled into. Never cared for catfish anyways. Tastes like pond scum.

I mean if all those statements are accurate the cop could very well be justified.

A witness said the officer said "Stop! Stop!" before five shots rang out.

Now cops will shoot you dead if your car rolls even an inch (a cop once pulled a gun on me when my car rolled forward an inch), so maybe the girl didn't put in park, lifted the brake, car rolled, and the officer freaked out? And the whole story of weapon is complete BS to cover his ass?

1
StaryHickory 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not true. Claiming you have a gun and will shoot a cop and doing stupid shit with your hands can and will get you shot. And it can be justified.

I want the facts of the case and to understand what happened and why. What he described could easily be a perfectly viable defense. If someone is threatening to kill you with a gun and makes a gesture indicating they intend to do so you don't have to wait until they point and fire.

Unfortunately he apparently didn't have a bodycam, so it's just his word against a corpse. He could make anything up and who's to argue? That's the issue. He could be telling the truth, but he also might not be.

2
StaryHickory 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree but what do we propose to do? This is how the police operated for over a 100 years. The solution is to have good honest cops. We don't know what happened. I am sure they will investigate.

Personally I believe all cops should have cameras. For their own legal protection.

Anyone want to bet on the odds the cop was from a perpetually violent minority group or was a third world "legal" immigrant?

More whites are killed by police than anyone. Maybe we should riot.

I've been pulled over many times and never had a single "bad cop" incident. In one incident the cop had every right to go directly to asshole cop mode but in every instance I was very polite. He was an undercover and saw me road raging. Whenever I get pulled over I immediately put the dome light on, shut off vehicle and put the key on the dashboard then put both hands out the window. Putting a cop immediately at ease and speaking calm and polite has gotten me off of every single traffic stop. I admitted I was at fault when he asked if I knew why he pulled me over and explained why I was trying to crowd another vehicle towards the curb. He said he knew why because he had seen the other driving like a total asshole but I was the bigger asshole. He said he was going to pull the other guy over until he saw my fancy maneuver. He just waited for the other car to be several blocks away and didn't even check my license before letting me go. He said to cool off and leave the vigilante justice at home.

That happened right in front of Union Station, next to the Capitol, in Washington, DC. I don't get pulled over often anymore but when I do I'm polite and interestingly, I've never been killed by a cop.

Jabblemonkey1 2 points ago +2 / -0

I have been in situations where an asshole cop gave me a ticket when I wasn't speeding.

I have had a friend killed in an unjustified police shooting.

I have had my life saved by a cop when some asshole tried to kill me during a robbery at the place where I worked.

I have more appreciation for good cops than I do disdain for bad ones.

And this is actually something worthy of protests.

No department should be without body cams in 2020. They're a few hundred dollars, literally zero fucking excuse. A department head should be jailed for not having cameras, that's like running a hospital without disinfectant.

Maybe she was a DNC staffer and committed Arkancide? That would at least explain the media is ignoring the incident.

2
Sweitzenhammer 2 points ago +4 / -2

Something doesn't seem right about this. Maybe she was intoxicated or on drugs...or just maybe she was a loony liberal who bought into the whole BLM/ACAB/Fry em like bacon rhetoric, and decided to do something about it. Either way, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

What's going on in this thread? Lots of people are assuming the cop was absolutely wrong with no evidence that he was. There's no evidence that she did anything wrong, either, aside from his report. 9 times out of 10 when I hear that a cop did something horrible, the truth turns out to be that they didn't.

So, until we have more information, I'm sitting in the "there's not enough info to make a decision either way" camp, aside for saying "Why does every cop not have a body cam and a dashcam?!"

What needs to happen is mandated police cams. So we can see what really happened here. All we have is heresay.

Cops need more training in all areas of the job, they also need more technology in non lethal weapons and tactics. That all cost more money, not less.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a sheriff’s office deputy conducted a traffic stop around 10 p.m. Saturday near West Broadway Boulevard and Winchester Drive in Sedalia for a vehicle that was speeding and ran a traffic light at Broadway and Thompson boulevards. Fizer eventually pulled off the road near LeMaire’s Cajun Catfish and Seafood House, 3500 W. Broadway Blvd.

MSHP has said Fizer allegedly claimed to have a gun and threatened to shoot the deputy during the traffic stop. Attendees agreed it was out of character for Fizer. Michael Fuson, a regular at Fizer’s work, said “It doesn't sound like her at all.”

We are better people than they are. Academia has turned them into violent NPC sheep. Unfortunately that means that until they wake up take a Red/Black Pill, they are horrible people.

Also yes, no one cares about white people. One black druggie thief with a violent past gets man slaughtered INTERNATIONAL protests. White children in South Africa get boiled alive. Media sleeps. This is how you create the Alt Right.

I hope her loved ones find justice. Her life mattered.

I think most understand that there are bad cops in this world.

Without a camera or witnesses though it is hard to come to a solid conclusion here.

I would wait for more information to come out before picking a side, you know like any logical person would.

In the place I am from the city cops were complete and total SHIITE!!!

The country Sheriff and his deputies were fucking fantastic, but the city cops sucked so damned hard they were a well known joke.

1
Reddit_refuge3 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm empathetic towards them and how hard it must be to see the worst of humanity day in and day out, and waking up every day in a major city filled with crime thinking it could he your last certainly takes its toll on people. Cops should have paid days off, way more training, a stricter screening process to weed out assholes and no union to protect bad cops.

99% of people on the right won't give a shit either. If they did, they'd also be mad about the 2000 whites attacked per day by black thugs, instead of being more interested in virtue signalling and telling us to "respect George Floyd".
