Serious question: If we're still in the covid-19 crisis, the lockdowns and masks didn't work. If the lockdowns and the masks didn't work, what choice do we have as a society then to resume life and allow some people to get sick?
Seriously, what the hell!? A few weeks to prep the healthcare system, and then wham, back to normal. WHAT. THE. HELL. HAPPENED. It's been memory holed. There was never supposed to be an initiative to "stop" the spread. We "flattened" the curve to prepare. That was it! The virus was always going to spread throughout the whole world. It was always going to end up killing people. Somehow we jumped to "lets all stick our heads in the sand and the virus will magically disappear, promise, just.. keep it in the sand... forever". I'm still perplexed why we're now left hanging in the wind on this. Where is the damn leadership on this pandemic?
