Hello, fellow pedes. I'm a long-time lurker on the forum, but a first-time poster. I (unfortunately) reside in a blue state (Illinois), so as one might expect, it's very difficult to openly express my views without fear of criticism. My current profession (high school substitute teacher) also doesn't necessarily lend itself to the free exercise of independent thought.

As previously mentioned, I've been perusing this community for a while, and I love the humor, energy and overall common sense that exists on this forum. I often get good information and some good laughs while viewing posts here. Given my location, though, it's not always easy to meet like-minded people in real life, especially as a younger guy. So after some deliberation, I finally decided to join the never-ending online Trump rally!

I hope to provide some interesting comments over time, but for now, I'll close with this: I love this President, and he is easily the best of my lifetime. While I may not always agree with every decision he makes, he is exactly who this country needs in the White House right now. He also needs to win again in November, because I shudder to think what will become of our nation if the Democrats retake power.
