What on earth country is this? This is not the united states anymore. Radical leftists have taken over and ruined it. Law and logic are out the window.
Do you think elected presidents are in charge of anything in totalitarian countries?
The head of the only party in existence is the supreme power in totalitarian countries. Legal governments are completely irrelevant when nobody gives a rat's ass about the law. The party decides what to do, and its activists do it, and its enablers and defenders crow about it. Anyone who resists is destroyed.
That's how such countries are ruled.
Were you confused by the phrase "fundamental transformation", as well?
I think that you misunderstood the question. Chairman Mao was in charge before, during and after the Cultural Revolution. As irritating as this time period is, we are not living in anything close to that. Millions of people literally starved to death. We are demoralizing ourselves when we are on the winning side.
If you think you are winning then your head is still stuck in the sand.
Right now, the most powerful man in the country is a three way race between Barack Obama, George Soros, and Jeff Bezos. Trump alas isn't in the list, nor anyone of the likes ofTucker. I wish it weren't so and long to change it, but can he control his own executive branch, or congressional republicans, let alone the country?
Right now, BLM polls over 60% support while pushing a platform of outright communism and frickin Aunt Jemima is being banned at their behest. If you think that isn't power, you're high. They should be a laughing stock and a disgrace; instead everyone is getting out of their way. Why? Abject fear, that's why. Fear of their direct action power, not electoral anything.
Mao didn't win elections. He didn't even hold elections, not that weren't just envelope stuffing exercises. He was in charge because he decided to be and ruthlessly enforced that with direct action against all who opposed him. Look around you. It's already happening right here.
Bingo.
That is such an outrageous comparison. Who was in charge of China in 1966 or even 1965? It was not President Trump.
