We are missing a big opportunity here by pushing back against defunding the police. This was a huge mistake for the left to make. Here is a list of the positives that could happen if done correctly.

• A huge rise in gun ownership. This would make everyone safer and challenge the left's narrative on gun control.

• No one to enforce all the big government bull shit that the left likes so much. This means a lot less power for the state.

• Privatized police. Fuck yes. The good cops that know how to peacefully handle things (and know when to use force) won't be out of a job. I know this may sound crazy, but check out a good example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAeurucvtdk

• We would be logically consistent in rejecting socialism. Security is a service like any other that will do better in a free market.

All of these things are terrible for the left. Like Mr. Rogers says, "Never interfere with the enemy while he is in the process of making a mistake.”
