Why would anyone choose to do a job where you are hated and attacked by a small but vocal group of people, and fear being charged with murder for doing your job and/or protecting your life?
Imagine being a cop, knowing you could never trust someone to prepare your food out of your line of sight in a restaurant. Knowing you could get killed protecting a neighborhood of ingrates. It's not worth it to protect Democrats.
What recourse do they have? This will be painful for Atlanta, but it's about the only thing left for them to do besides just quitting.
