While a large portion of the time this is right, there's also a large portion of police that take reports on PDA. Which nowadays is just another cell phone. We have Samsung Galaxy phones to take reports on. Even though we have a laptop.
I am listening to that district right now. A cop said it was just him and one other cop at that precinct. "protestors" were headed that way. They were gonna go out into their personal vehicles outside so they weren't trapped inside. Now other cops are bringing their person vehicles in and parking across the street, moving anything of value out of the precinct into their cars.
What is the practical meaning of this? The dispatchers walked off also? Or the dispatchers shifted to broadcasting to other districts that still have cops on duty?
It means the gangs, the liberals, and those that are still in the city are now finding out there positions. Anybody that was smart would move out now. Take everything and just move. 2 days or so is when the spark will ignite, and will go blazing into an inferno. These people quite literally have no idea of what has happen, and will find out after the 3rd and 4th day(if not sooner).
Fucking sad, but it had to be done, bravo to the police. That community better start screaming from the rooftops about how law enforcement is being treated or that city is done.
The Fire Department are next to walk off the job. One day later it's the health workers, however, some emergency combat medics will be available later on. Electric services, water services and waste management are already preparing to cancel all current services. So Generators, fuel and water storage containers will be a necessity. Garbage will need to be deposited in the burned out lots where businesses and family homes once stood.

I listen to a scanner regularly, the police in two cities I monitor frequently switch to phones to discuss people and situations.
They just reported people in “Antifa type garb” Creeping around. And they are clearing out the precinct.
