Quest for Cosmic Justice, Basic Economics, and Black Rednecks and White Liberals are the classics imo. Discrimination and Disparities is one of his newer books that aims to condense a lot of his previous essays into a more concise, shorter book. It's extremely informative, only about 120 pages, and you will learn so much. I actually cranked out post it notes and a highlighter like I was in 9th grade English lol
Basic Economics covers all the bases. It's a long book. Economic Facts and Fallacies is probably a good place to start since its broken down by specific societal problems. A Conflict of Visions is a rare book in which Sowell delves into the deep philosophical differences that underpin our political differences.
Yes. He is. !!
And read his books.
I swear, you get smarter just by reading his work. I don't mean that you learn new facts, which is true, but that's not what i'm aiming at.
I mean, the way he expresses a logical thought makes your brain improve.
Do you have a suggestion for his best book to start with?

If only he could be heard over the sound of idiots throwing bricks and chanting profanities through bullhorns...
