I swear, you get smarter just by reading his work. I don't mean that you learn new facts, which is true, but that's not what i'm aiming at.

I mean, the way he expresses a logical thought makes your brain improve.

Quest for Cosmic Justice, Basic Economics, and Black Rednecks and White Liberals are the classics imo. Discrimination and Disparities is one of his newer books that aims to condense a lot of his previous essays into a more concise, shorter book. It's extremely informative, only about 120 pages, and you will learn so much. I actually cranked out post it notes and a highlighter like I was in 9th grade English lol

Basic Economics covers all the bases. It's a long book. Economic Facts and Fallacies is probably a good place to start since its broken down by specific societal problems. A Conflict of Visions is a rare book in which Sowell delves into the deep philosophical differences that underpin our political differences.
