Smurfy's viewpoint seems to hold, as its central pillar, that if you are an American who finds themselves living in a blue state hellhole, then fuck you because you don't have any right to expect any help from outside because your neighbors are idiots.
I'm in Connecticut. Frankly, I'm AMAZED that we haven't had more "peaceful protests" here. This part of the country is where I was born, where my roots and memories are, and where my family is. The fact that large numbers of people in this region are DELUDED does not obligate me to consider "retreat with tail clenched firmly between my legs" as my only viable option.
Based on that, I disagree with Smurfy's assessment: and am therefore free to downvote to convey that disagreement: just as you are free to UPVOTE if you agree. And it would be just as IDIOTIC if I were to proclaim that only paid WHORES were UPvoting a post.
Yeah I generally don’t like to accuse people of being shills for or against anything. And obviously your response suggests you are genuine, nor was I directing my comment at you or anyone. My main thing here is that I do think SOROS (or whoever) is strongly trying to incite a race war, so I think we need to be somewhat cautious about feeding into that. There definitely seems to have been some comments pushing for that (not yours) that I don’t think are coming from genuine Trump supporters, but subversives attempting to enrage us. For us to start a race war now would I think be a huge strategic mistake, especially since the Democrats are melting down. They are doing a lot of damage as they burn out, and that is frustrating, but I think our best move is to remain calm at least until the Election. We have to think what is best for Trump right now.
