America will never get there following it's current course. Japan does not adhere to Multiculturalism and their society is honor bound and disciplined.
For America, ending immigration and repatriation of those that consider themselves a hyphenated American would be a good start. If you consider yourself an <Other Country> - American then it's time for repatriation to that other Country/Continent. Even then we still have so many American Psychos.
Multiculturalism is an epic failure. Cultures need to melt into America to become an American. No hyphen needed.
Civic nationalism is the only way if we're going to keep different race cultures coexisting such as our nation does. It's just all these fucking progressive communists keep putting tribalism in our faces in order to keep us preoccupied and agitated. It's so damned effective, we gonna have to put some really influential people away literally off the streets so that our culture can have some time to mend. Everybody tied into the communist conspiracy to demoralize us has to be purged.

I legally immigrated here with my family when I was 2 years old from the Soviet Union, and I was naturalized through my parents. We only have One Citizenship.
Ever since then, my parents, while they speak Russian pretty well, have long since learned the language and culture. My mom doesn't even like Russian things anymore.
I don't know how it all works with people who have Dual Citizenships.

If America was 85%~ white like it was for almost the entirety of its life then we would have a delightful civilized society. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore and the country we live in is almost unrecognizable to the one that existed a mere 100 years ago.
