There IS a Second Wave, and it's coming from Mexico.
Look up Imperial, CA. There are tons of people who live in Mexico and work on the US side of the border, along with the ones in Mexico getting sick then getting dumped on our side of the border for "free" care.
San Diego's hospitals are flooded. So are Palm Springs, and they are trying to push them on us here in LA (transfers from these hospitals).
I'm a nurse in LA. Covid is NOT gone, and we're still getting exposed to it. I'm not advocating for another US Quarantine, but this still has a potential to be with us for awhile. My hospital has seen a decline in cases, but the ones coming from Mexico has us worried, and my hospital is DEFINITELY getting prepared for a possible Second Wave.
I was looking through the numbers for v the countries in California and comparing them to the population and noticed that Imperial Country had an insanely high number of new cases, given the small population. You just explained it. Thank you.
Not standard treatment on the floors, can't speak to what the ICU is doing, but I haven't heard. Definitely NOT a death trap (and really, LA doesn't have the stats for any LA hospitals to be considered a Covid death trap, but some have shit-tier staff that makes them death traps for non-covid reasons)
All I can say is that I haven't personally administered those meds for covid patients, and I don't go looking into the charts of patients that aren't mine (don't want to get fired for HIPPAA violations!) Our covid patients on the floors are stable, and many were sent home in the early phases because all we were doing was monitoring and giving tylenol for the mild cases. The severe cases go straight to the ICU for closer monitoring, so IF we are using that regimen that's where it would be used.
No, it's fucking not. Don't twist my words. Death Trap hospitals are co-habitating patients with covid with those who are covid-free in the same room. Placing a patient who's at-risk for possibly rapidly declining where they can get faster treatment and away from non-covid patients is the precise opposite of a "death trap". You fucking sicken me, and you should go crawl back to your job at CNN you fake news shill. Your ignorance is fucking astounding.

Is your hospital using Hydroxychloroquine+Zinc or is it like the death trap ventilator hospital with based whistleblower nurse?

So it's like the death trap ventilator hospital then.
