Roberts again. He has turned out to be one of the worst legacies of the Bush administration. The Trump administration not being permitted to rescind an executive order made by another president is a disturbing precedent to set.

Yep. It is.

Is this why the Solicitor General resigned?

Wishful thinking, I’m afraid. We all know that this court has protected Obama policies above all else in recent years. I don’t see them giving the same deference to Trump EOs. This decision needs to encourage the Trump base to work hard to win in November to fight back against this liberal crap.

Roberts was a Bush appointee. We all knew after the Obamacare decision that he was not going to take positions against media supported Obama priority. Electing Trump has prevented a further leftist takeover of the court, but at this point we cannot say it has a constitutionalist majority. That is why we must work to re-elect Trump and keep control of the senate, as more vacancies are likely.

Hold the black pill until November 4th.

It doesn't feel like it because you are stapled to the internet, but in the real world, Trump's support is swelling in a big way. A married couple who are some of my best friends are dyed-in-the-wool "tranny story time" liberals. We get along because we all know each other's politics and understand that you can be friends without sharing political views.

The husband has been talking to me since last year about how he's starting to feel like a slave to the party as a straight white male and that maybe the politicians don't actually believe the things they are saying.

The wife just asked me if I would be willing to take her to buy a gun and teach her to shoot it but also not tell her husband. Not even a week later the husband asked me the exact same thing. We're having an all-day firearms lesson on Saturday with both of them and they have both made noises about none of the bad things they thought about Trump actually having come to pass and the Democrats being pretty shitty lately.

The world you see through a screen is not the real world.

In the real world, the Democrats have massively overplayed their hand and have an absolute muppet running for President. Their turnout is going to be abysmal and ours is going to shake the foundations of the Earth. The REEEEE that will be heard throughout the land on the evening of November 3rd is going to echo throughout history.

I fully expect to hold the House and Senate next year. I know that doesn't mean much if it's full of RINO's, but at least it's something. For the most part, the leadership in the house is actively MAGA and the Senate can be convinced to be if the House doesn't cuck out.

I wouldn’t say either one, honestly. I think Trump will win in part because we will work hard to earn every vote. We must continue spreading our positive message to keep America great, and I know we will. We can and will defeat the left in November.

Roberts wrote in the decision that the government failed to give an adequate justification for ending the federal program. WTF!!!!!

this

Yes it was. The court’s ruling doesn’t address that, but it does mean that more red tape and time are involved to end the program. Dumb ruling by Roberts.

This is really what he needs to say. Just come out and say straight up

You have now tried to tell the country that an action taken entirely by the executive branch under its own sole authority cannot be ended by the same authority. I reject both your reasoning and your ruling. The executive action remains in effect until Congress does its job, as the founders intended. There are three branches to this government, not two subservient to the court.

And let the chips fall.

And the one he appeared to cuck out on the other day wasn't what it looked like, either. Gorsuch knew it was a lost cause, so he tried to be clever and vote with the majority in order to write the opinion.

In that opinion he made it clear that sexuality is a behavior and not an innate characteristic. His argument made clear that by discriminating against a man behaving like a woman, you are actually just discriminating against a man for being a man.

He applied the same logic to transgenderism, making it clear that it is a legal status and not a biological status. This opens the door for things like banning trannies from playing sports to be upheld, and for things like the cake shop to easily win any cases because it is a religious exemption to a false contention that there are multiple genders or that the two sexes should behave the way God intended.

I still think it was stupid and he shouldn't have done it, but I believe that was his intent.

Bruh do a LITTLE fucking research at least. Bush appointed Roberts, not Trump. Pretty damn obvious.

Trump appointed Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, both who supported ending DACA.

GenericInsult 28 points ago +29 / -1

Ok... wait.

  1. 0bama writes an illegal EO that lets illegal aliens stay in the country.

  2. It was found unconstitutional.

  3. Now it is allowed?

What the flying fuck?

Really with this decision Trump should just start making laws with EO. The next president wont be able to stop it per this court order. Just start making laws you want.

It is time for Trump to do a mass deportation on illegals.

Previous Presidents have done it, so there is a precedent.

Hoping it happens.

The Trump administration needs to revise the order to end DACA and resubmit. The ruling today doesn't mean the President cannot end DACA. From USA Today when the case started:

"The question before the justices Tuesday was not whether the Trump administration can wind down the program, which is undisputed. Rather, they were asked to decide if the administration's initial reason for doing so – that DACA was illegal from the start – was accurate and sufficient."

MamaStew 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is important. DACA itself was not upheld. This was a case about the process of overturning it. They can revise and try again.

Is Roberts simply a cucked faggot? Or is he being extorted? It just doesnt make any sense in his rulings. At least with the lefty judges, its pretty obvious they are just liberal POS activists.
