There's one key factor that everyone seems to completely miss and that is that most politically active Democrats are jobless... Republicans actually have fucking jobs and careers and families we have to take care of... Even if it was a normal time and the normal year we still wouldn't be able to take time off of work and turn off of our bills to go do what you're asking.... it's not a matter of me deciding that the political future is more important and I should be taking time off of my job to protest... as if most of our jobs would even allow that. I have fucking children to feed and, unfortunately, fighting for their political future doesn't fill their stomachs, or put clothes on their back, or send them to school, or put a roof over their heads.......
But this is not a regular year... most of us are just now finally getting back to work full-time and trying to catch back up on bills so that we don't start losing shit.. so when exactly are we supposed to do what you're asking?
