if anything, it's a plot by lefty SCOTUS judges (and Roberts who is pretty much one of them now) to devalue Trump's achievements in nominating judges. The goal here is to separate Trump from his evangelical supporters because Trump's evangelical supporters said they supported him in 2016 because they believed the SCOTUS nominations were more important than Trump's character.
