I don't support alphabet people rights at all. But I would like people to realize the effects of these laws. If given the choice between two identical candidates to hire, except one has the potential or likelihood of a lawsuit, you are going to pick the low risk one. If you have received a lawsuit, no matter how frivolous, you will never consider a similar candidate again.

Nobody quits their job and is sued because the owner is any of those protected classes, and it works just fine. I am for abolishing the entire law --> more working, less suing. More work for everyone except lawyers.

I would actually be interested in polling people and asking them how things would change if federal anti-discrimination laws were repealed. I hate discrimination but we have it right now with immutable characteristics factoring into hiring decisions.
