My dad used to be a paramedic. He and I have talked about how stupid the mask thing is. Paramedics don't wear masks on the job. ER doctors don't wear masks when they're doing their rounds. A surgeon will wear a mask in a sterilized environment to prevent spit particles from entering an open wound and causing an infection. Other than that, masks are pretty much useless.
The reason the left has been pushing mask-wearing so hard is because the mask is a symbol of submission and conformity.
