If the point of a post is to garner an emotional anger response against a group based on the actions of a member of that group, then it’s leftist style tactics. The fault likes with the INDIVIDUAL committing the act, not with the race or class.
Picking anecdotes of blacks being thugs and murderers does not reflect the fact that most blacks are not thugs - just as most whites are not racists. The president is trying to calm down racial hate rhetoric by showing that it’s being ginned up through deception and distorted presentation of facts that leave out other truths. That’s a better example to follow in my opinion.
If this were contemporary news I would agree with you. But Mrs. Dow was murdered in 2016. Her murderers were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Nothing can bring her back or undo what those murdering thugs did, but that’s a reasonable approximation of justice (my preference would have been death penalty). If we’re being factual, why are those facts omitted? The perps committed the crime and are rotting in jail for the rest of their lives. It seems to me that it was reposted due to the brutality of the murder, and light on details regarding when it happened (4 years ago) and what happened to the murderers (life sentences, no parole), to infuriate people.
Maybe you are right and I am projecting. I will need to reflect on that. But what was the purpose of this incomplete, old news?
