A major red pill for my wife related to race baiting occurred in 2004 when former L.A. Mayor, and then California Education Secretary, Richard Riorden, was visiting a school in Santa Barbara and had a controversial interaction with a little girl. The girl, Isis D'Luciano, asked Riorden if he knew that her name meant "Egyptian Goddess", and Riorden replied that it meant "stupid dirty girl". When the story broke, it was immediately assumed that the little girl was black, and the race baiting outrage machine went into full gear, with protest planned, shouts of racism across the media, etc. Civil rights groups were mobilizing to come to L.A. to unleash their fury. Then they found out that Isis was a little blond white girl, and instantly called it all off.
Here is a nice red pill article that somehow hasn't been take down yet:

"As mayor, he once greeted hunger strikers outside his office eating a hamburger."
Perhaps it went something like this..."Hey folks, this In n Out burger is GREAT! You really gotta try one of these! You stupid, dirty people."
I agree, it’s a level of assholerie I can only hope to aspire to.
