Yeahno, have a deport. Juneteenth is not cultural emancipation, whatever the fook that is.... it is simply the day a yankee landed in Galveston and announced Emancipation, which had occurred two and a half years earlier.

Do you know when Emancipation was announced in your State? Or when it was announced in say Illinois? How about the day the Magna Carta was signed, do you know that date? No? Well the slaves in Texas marked the day they heard of Emancipation, it is now known by many, even you.

Why all the Hate? All that happened is POTUS thought to honor the date, which others such as obama ignored, again proving he actually CARES about all the people.

Pisses you off to honor other points of view does it? We fought a war which killed 600000 Americans and one aspect of that war was freedom for slaves, down here they choose to mark the date they became aware of that.

You don't have to like it, but you sure don't get to spread Hate about it either.

So let me get this straight, we need to tear down statues and monuments because they remind us of racism and slavery and keep us from moving forward as a country. But at the same time, we need a national holiday that reminds us of racism and slavery. Yeah, ok. All this does is continue breeding hate against whites in perpetuity. You want peace? Stop the cultural Marxism.

You're not making any attempt to 'get this straight' but just like leftist twits you attempt to move goal posts around. Please don't take offense, you're choosing to grow angst and Hate where none should exist and may not even realize the conflation you describe there.

Who said anything about tearing down statues....? You did. Who said anything about a national holiday...? You did. Who thinks statues remind people of slavery or that holidays remind people of slavery...? You do, apparently.

All I did was explain Juneteenth to you, from the perspective of a non-black Texan who lived thru Federally dictated busing ruining my schools and community.

You don't want to understand near as much as you want to bring unwarranted Hate, projecting your words onto others.

I don’t need you to explain Juneteenth to me—“just like leftist twits”— because every corporation, Marxist, white guilt lib, BLM supporter, and general “leftist twit” in America has already done that for you today. Open your eyes, it’s no longer about just Texas.

For Trump to be able to not have a rally in Tulsa on this day is insanity. And if it’s not because of a reminder of “racism and slavery”—which you say has nothing to do with this day (which is a lie)—then why does BLM support this holiday?

Sorry man but anything BLM supports, I oppose. Full stop.
