The least she could do is be ready for issues like this. When someone merely says, "I'll look into it", the chances of things happening are slim.

If she was serious at that time, she would have stopped what she was doing and called up someone to look into it immediately.

Or at the very least, she would write it down on a big fucking white board so that everyone remembers to look into it. Thankfully we have social media and can hold these people accountable even if they don't want to hold themselves accountable.
