1984 was basically journalism with a plot, reported from within the commie camp by one of their own fellow travellers. Orwell sadly never took the final red pill of disavowing socialism altogether, but fortunately for us he took most of the others.

No, he never even tried. He was always one of them. It was about telling us their plans in plain sight; its their twisted way of balancing the scales. To them they can get away with all the evil they do as long as they give us a bit of their agenda mixed in with half truths/half lies mixed w/ "entertainment".

Exactly correct. Thats why the Left loves symbolism and predictive programming in movies and media, its all part of their ideology

We even have a Goldstein to blame it all on.

Happy Juneteenth! We have always celebrated Juneteenth. Anyone who doesn't remember a time when we didn't is a racist and should be ostracized from polite society.

[For the record, I have zero problem with recognizing Juneteenth--it's actually a neat story. I am just utterly perplexed by the way it became part of the cultural experience virtually overnight]

1984 was written so they would be relieved of their conscience bc they were telling us their plans for us in plain sight. We took 1984 as entertainment while they were using it as predictive programming & conditioning.
