After everything being forced to shut down for 3 months and constant WuFlu is going to get you, and then people wanting to go back to work being mocked, and then rioters and the creatures being allowed to freely commandeer 6 blocks of a city with no repercussions, and now this whole BLM-Antifa-all-white-people-are-racist-corporations-signaling thing I feel when is it going to be enough already?!
I feel like we spent the first 5 months of the year being instilled with fear over an unseen entity of biblical proportions. It literally went from 0-100 overnight. At first I really didn't know what to think, we had never reacted this way to any other illness in my lifetime (I'm in my mid 50s) so there must really be something going on. Now I feel like we were played. virtually everyone had their lives turned upside down to some degree, whether it was missing milestone events (graduations etc) or not being able to be with family when they needed it most, or losing jobs we all were impacted in some way. Then George Floyd was murdered. All of a sudden we saw that "social distancing" and shut downs might not have really been necessary, after the damage of that was already done. To complete the damage from the shut down, businesses were destroyed physically in case the economic destruction wasn't enough.
Don't miss understand me, regardless of George Floyd's history I do believe the cops were wrong in that specific situation, and the cop that had him pinned had several complaints. So the bigger issue was why was that cop not previously disciplined. However, the week long funeral and memorial, the endless riots, and this out of control virtue signaling by corporate America is really getting on my nerves.
Canceling COPS and Live PD? Banning Gone with the Wind? Legos afraid to market police sets? And every company website I visit has a big banner about how they don't support racism.... well duh. No one does. We have laws to defend against it that have been in effect for decades. I'm not an idiot, I know that sadly there are people out there who still live in the dark ages and have racist beliefs but I believe they are a minority - even though the media and left want us to believe they are everywhere (and are Trump supporters).
I don't know anyone or would ever associate with anyone that believes a group of people deserve less because of their ethnicity. Everyone is an equal member of the human race and entitled to the same treatment and respect.
I can't help but feel like this is covertly aimed at Trump and Trump supporters because of this leftist/demorat narrative that has been in play for the last 5 years, that Trump is racist (when he is not a russian asset) and everyone who supports him is a racist. Take Juneteenth, I had never heard of it until I moved to Texas. I came from the northeast in 1990 and it was not a thing there or at least that I was aware of. It seems like it has suddenly become national since Trump was going to have his rally on the 19th and the left lost their minds, as if he was somehow planning an anti rally or something.....
It just feels like if we are not in a minority group we are automatically guilty and need to be told we are horrible, except white people on the left which somehow magically makes them exempt from being racist. (Which would explain why a leftist white person can call a conservative black person an uncle tom and it's not called out for what it is: racism.)
I really feel like the left has been beating the hell out of all of us.

You just typed out what just about every person here is thinking. We are in a soft civil war and it has been escalating. Our biggest weapon is our vote and the left/globalist powers know this, thats why they are unleashing all this on us, to further polarize, divide, and demoralize us. It won't work, and when we win inNovember they will probably have their biggest assault/offensive ready. What will it be? Only the leaders of the CCP and Soros probably know, but be prepared. Arm yourself, have some ammo. Have a few months of food and water on hand. Toilet paper shortages will seem like a vacation to whatever they do next.

I hear you and feel the same way. I am in my mid 50’s as well. I worry that our country is drastically and quickly changing and may never be the same. People continue to be compliant about the masks and staying shutdown, and I think some would willingly go back into lockdown. The left is openly taking charge, and we on the right - politicians and people continue to let them. We say that we’ll show them by voting, but like Tucker says it’s the ones that riot who gets what they want and quickly. I feel that Trump really hasn’t been able to function as a President- the courts (and recently the Supreme Court), constant lawsuits, the Democrats, and even our own Republicans fight him. Republicans don’t stick together, Democrats always do. I certainly hope that Trump’s rally gets to take place tomorrow and that the Oklahoma SC doesn’t rule against it today. If this rally takes place, it will change the trajectory. I think the biggest factor is the schools. I remember my kids having to write about there no longer being an American dream. All the other talking points we see were taught -America is a bad country, socialism is good, racism, secularism.
It's weird but I grew up in New England and I remember the bicentennial and feeling very proud to be an American, and the last time I felt that energy unfortunately was right after 9/11. Then BHO came along and reminded everyone why we suck and a whole generation fell into that trap. I really hope they have that rally I need to see the massive turn out to feel like we aren't alone! I think it insane that they would even consider ruling it out when it is perfectly fine to go smash windows, start fires, and take over cities.

I’m concerned this no longer applies because the communists have infiltrated every aspect of our society. People used to be exposed to leftism only in college and grew out of their liberal ways as they started a career and family. Now everyone works in a corporate environment that continues to cram leftist anti American crap down their throats. Also, an increasingly large percent of society under 40 has never been in a significant romantic relationship, will never own a home or get married and have children. I personally know people around my age (29) who are still loving life in their apartments because they want to have the city life and never grow up. It doesn’t look good for America.
I am an eternal optimist however because I have faith in God and I know he is protecting us conservatives and our country and He wins in the end. The universities/schools being closed is the best thing to happen to this country. Let‘s hope many of them close their doors forever. This is where all of this leftist garbage comes from. Now what to do about the media?

Reality is that this country has been more than fair when it comes to this racism shit for decades and this virus crap has been such a huge load of shit, it was not worth all this crap. Think of it this way. When the enemy is literally throwing shit at the wall and everything including the kitchen sink (literally) at you, they are desperate. This action had to happen. The democrats have established their platform now. This is good. Sane people can wake up. I've been a conspiracy theorist my whole life. I have never seen information that is generally obscured be so close to the surface before. Sure, it's polluted with misinformation. At some point each of us will realize that all actual truth comes from within and nowhere else. Then we've won the real batlle.
I'm in my 60's and I think we as a Country are in a worse place than ever in my lifetime. Far too many youth believe we are a racist to the core Country, believe capitalism is bad, believe the rich need to be punished, believe they aren't responsible for their success and think tearing things down accomplishes their goals. I think that right now, our Country is more racist than ever, but it comes from the left. They use racial tensions to achieve their goals to tear down this Country.
The left is absolutely winning right now, on the backs of the fake news MSM who refuses to report facts and is an extension of the DNC, using hate to separate us into manageable tribes, based on race, gender, identity, religion, etc.

I thought POTUS was maybe laying a trap, or just letting the Dems burn themselves out. That may be the case but the further it goes the less likely that seems.
