I agree with your first sentence. No president has been up against an organized force like this in history. He's doing the best he can and the fact he's made it this far means he's the most skillful president we've ever had and the right guy for the job. No matter what I'm voting for him in nov, but I somewhat agree with OP that there is an element of "failing"--it feels like he's Failing right now. My personal opinion is that Trump can fix all this with two words he could tweet out
"IMRAN AWAN"
it would fuck their shit totally up and the left would immediately kickban him from twitter. This would then cause Trump to block twitter off the internet
After all, the Executive actually owns the internet, at least within the US. The infrastructure is US mlitary...it's DOD. People say 'no it's not, ISPs aren't owned by DOD" that is true. But ISPs can't do shit...cannot communicate across the interstate without AT&T and AT&T is the private face of teh public NSA agency and they run the whole thing at a fundamental level. Yes, they can in fact shut down the internet for civilians if they want to. If Trump shuts down twitter, he will shut the others down too, putting all of silicon valley in a timeout for acting like jerks. This will be done legally, because of censorship of the right
You see censorship fo the right is actually very illegal in many ways, not the least of which is rigging elections and intimidating voters into chilling their political speech. If twitter is selectively booting conservatives because of political speech they don't like then they are gaming the election in favor of the other side. This is a completely legitimate reason to shut social media down until they completely restore all patriots accounts and guarantee it doesn't happen again. He could also declassify, unredact and publish everything by teling Ratcliffe to hurry up and do this right now. Trump has the authority to do this, AFAIK, to every document. POTUS doesn't get a clearance level but doesn't need one because he is legally entitled to see it all. NOW THAT BEING THE CASE doesn't mean they will give him all the documents. Deepstate had been depriving him of requested documents and that needs to end right now.
