I don't think anyone's really thought about Bob Dole since 1997. And I know he's actually been legit the last few years (hence the media not swooning in a frenzy to parade him as a noble statesman and exemplar of bipartisan love of America - provided they always agree with the Democrats).

But the idea of believing in Bob Dole and him being a force for change, or really even being someone that somebody thought should make a go for President, is in hindsight, tragicomic to me.

But then again. What were our options? Ross Perot or Colin Powell? And both brutally sabotaged themselves, even though each had a path to victory.

Trump was all in on DACA, but he wanted his wall and an end to those immigration loopholes, but like you said, Dems refused. Common misunderstanding, but the U.S. wasn't founded with the intention of a hierarchical system of government where the federal reigns supreme and dictates everything to the states. It was really more, imo, similar to a group of nations banding together and deciding that a federal government would handle national issues (defense of the nation, tariffs & trade, treaties, interstate issues, etc.) while everything else would be handled by the states.

But we see the same issues here that we are seeing with the EU. The federal/multinational government doesn't want restrictions on its power and will constantly work to increase its power over the member parties.

It is NOT the Court's place to impute motive on legal actions in order to deny those actions. Ridiculous.

The President has the power to revoke EOs from the office. Geez, the mere fact that the people voted for that is enough reason, regardless of Trump's personal view on it.

Thinking about this and the Supreme Court ruling is a great campaign opportunity for Trump. Trump was elected a large part because of his stance on illegal immigration. Trump signed the DACA order day 1 of his presidency. He kept his promise. However, the Democrats and the Supreme Court kept the executive order from happening. He kept his promise to the base, this will just fire up the base even more! Rush is right - landslide!

8 of the 9 Justices said they would not interfere if the 'proper channels' are followed. Do just that. Follow every suggestion they made. Dot every i. We all know that the leftist justices are just trying to push this decision past November but there's no reason for stopping.
