The entire history of slavery has been convoluted in schools. They don't teach about towns built for blacks, governed by blacks, that fell apart because of the appointed black officials greed.

They remember slaves had no rights, but forget that a slaves crimes were charged to their master. Meaning if a slave assualted someone, or did any wrong, that crime was not against them, but their owner. I know that may sound racist, but it is historical fact. If you struck someone else's slave, you would be charged for it.

My family had a history of slaves before America became America. One count for hitting the captains slave on a ship but not damaging (yeah, that sounds fucked up) he was charged and found guilty. Did about three months. Then a slave of his hit a white over the head with an axe rendering the white retarded, he went to court, it was another three months. His slave had no repercussions.
