You'd think Colin would be just a little ashamed of being such a bad QB that he can't even get an Affirmative Action hire.

He got paid though. Also "shame" and Colin are in fact seemingly mutually exclusive. We'll see if some team calls his bluff which was my advice from the get go.

It's pretty obvious he doesn't have any intention of playing. That's why it was always his goal for us to be against that so he can claim bogus martyr status and cash in. Many fell for it.

I will never watch football or buy any of their merchandise ever again and I haven’t for four years

It's been the death of a thousand cuts for me with both NFL and NBA. The basic fundamental problem is that they both started catering way too much to nerds and silicon valley corporatists in the digital age. It was never necessary and it was always going to hurt their brand domestically. I suspect by design (less pro-America makes it more brand friendly worldwide FYI).

I've never cared what a player did in his personal life outside being convicted (in a courtroom) of a serious violent crime. I'm for pure meritocracy in sports. If you're a free man you can play in the league as far as I care. So, if a dope wants to wear piggy socks or a Che Guevara shirt to get attention that's on him and I have nothing to do with it. I don't "like" it but ultimately I have to pay attention in the first place to actually give a shit.

It’s all about disrespecting what the flag stands for for me.

Are you saying you would hire OJ but not Kaepernick?

No I wouldn’t hire any more black people for the NFL only Mexicans and Asians because there’s not enough diversity
