So what? Pro sports can go the way of the dinosaur for all I care. In fact, if Hollywood dies on the vine as well, that'd be good for the Country. They are all a little too big for their britches.

I think it's safe to say some of us enjoy the sport of football, but we don't give a shit about the NFL. If XFL, for example, were to come back or another new league altogether that kept politics off the field, then maybe I would watch again. As it stands, I don't go out of my way to watch any sports. My wife watches football more than I do.
