So what? Pro sports can go the way of the dinosaur for all I care. In fact, if Hollywood dies on the vine as well, that'd be good for the Country. They are all a little too big for their britches.

Have you ever played?

I did. It encouraged brotherhood, mainlines and teamwork. It was an amazing thing. Now what some people do for football has twisted it... but football was originally made... to keep men manly.

LOL

Of course not! I was fortunate enough to receive the Pediatric Red Pill. Violence disguised as entertainment has never been appealing to me on any level. Even at an early age, I was smart enough to avoid foolhardy activities with a high risk of injury. Watching people act out their violent impulses for attention or profit is equally uninteresting and illogical.

Balderdash. It encourages narcissism and binge-drinking. It's a way for people with more brawn than brains to feel superior.

>You will never sell me on that bullshit. I have watched countless lives go down the drain and countless hours wasted on this drunken football obsession nonsense. I have also been subjected to this same condescending narrative for decades, in case that isn't obvious.

It was good enough for Teddy Roosevelt so it was good enough for me and shall be for my son. American boys have to learn how to be men, and playing a real sport like football helps with that a great deal.

Right. I played in jr. high and high school, and it was a valuable experience. I'll still go to our local high school games with my family, but pro ball? ... no. I can't make myself care anymore.
