Probably has more to do with looking like hypocritical asses who bitch about how stupid it is for advertisers to drop Tucker Carlson on Monday and then turn around and give the finger to Chik Fil A on Tuesday because the CEO hurt your feelings. Critical thinkers can separate a man from the company and its employees. Boycotts hurt the employees more than the CEO, and most of them are probably not leftists that deserve to be punished. Your little protest has collateral damage and doesn't really accomplish anything meaningful in the long run.

It's also a form of virtue signaling. We should be better than that.
