I recognize the need for help in a situation you may have been led to believe was very deadly (how many of the soldiers from that boat died of the wuhan flu?), yet broadcasting the location of a naval ship so the enemy can find you, telling them your boat is kind of crippled? No, this is gross incompetence and sounds to me deserved of being removed from duty.
