They don't get the chance. There are armed patriots ready to swarm before they get to that point. Just look how they protected The Alamo recently.

Looks like it to me, but it does refer back to two other statutes. You’d have to read those as well to see what they say about protecting your own property first.

Bottom line, you better have your ducks in a row. You have to be good to shoot under 9.42 and 9.41 - which includes "the use of force other than deadly force to protect or recover the land or property would expose the actor or another to a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury"

You cannot just cap a fool.
