Berman released a statement tonight saying he will stay until the senate votes on his replacement....in other words mutiny.

Is Durham sniffing around Berman?

Treason?

No. People are starting to throw around that word like the left throws around the word racist. It loses its real meaning when we accuse every person that does a shitty thing as being treasonous.

Treason is specific to war. What Bergman is doing bad, but it has nothing to do with treason.

Yup, sedition is the word that is the lesser offense than treason. A traitor is actively pursuing a plot to overthrow the state (usually involving an assasination of the head of state). Sedition is your general gumming up the works, sabotage, etc that we see from Obama holdovers and RINOs.

Treason In law, treason is criminal disloyalty, typically to the state. It is a crime that covers some of the more extreme acts against one's nation or sovereign. This usually includes things such as participating in a war against one's native country, attempting to overthrow its government, spying on its military, its diplomats, or its secret services for a hostile and foreign power, or attempting to kill its head of state

Preet Bharara tried the same move in 2017. Pedes need to stop giving these knee jerk reactions every time something doesn’t immediately happen in government.
