My bad, point well taken.

I'd still urge you to rethink the "common man" bit, as there are plenty of those ready and willing to contribute in the selling out of their country at the "elites'" behest. Never forget that it's not the elites' vote that counts, which is why the nationalism vs globalism duality illustrates the matter more accurately.
