It’s sad. Many people in this group really do want to be considerate and accommodating to others and liberalism just exploits them shamelessly. And yes there’s some vanity hiding in there too. But I meet a lot of people who are very thoughtful at a personal level who fall for this preachy liberal bullshit all the time.
